Vice President of Customer Success - Actively Learn

Location: Seattle, WA (HQ)

We are looking for a leader to run Customer Success, which is responsible for implementing Actively Learn in schools and districts across the country, including the renewal of customer contracts. The Success team educates and trains teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators on Actively Learn’s curriculum platform, as well as how to use the platform to amplify literary practices that will help students become stronger readers and learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Own an annual renewal revenue target and lead a remote Success team working with hundreds of K-12 institutions.
  • Recruit and hire talented individuals to grow the team, which is expected to double in size in the next six months.
  • Coach and develop individuals with varying levels of experience at Actively Learn and managing accounts.
  • Manage the Success function using Salesforce data and reporting to prioritize team activities and report on performance.
  • Develop expertise on Actively Learn, literacy and learning in order to be a subject-matter expert for customers, with the ability to perform individual contributor responsibilities if required.
  • Continuously improve processes and resources to be more effective and efficient to help the team achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with other key company functions (Sales, Marketing, Product) and share insights as the “voice of the customer” to improve cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.  Masters preferred.
  • 3+ years of proven success managing a team of success or account managers working with K-12 schools and districts
  • A track record of strong coaching that others have relied upon to improve their skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of accounts
  • Strong strategic thinking, using data to inform decision-making
  • Presentation skills, both in-person and online
  • ‍Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ‍Interest in literacy across subject areas
  • ‍Ability to travel during peak times of the year
  • A strong work ethic, empathy, and the ability to take direction and guidance
